Information and updates regarding COVID-19 from the Stockbridge-Munsee Community

  • Phase 2 Population eligible for Vaccination:

    Essential Populations, Individual who are part of a household of the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Members, Stockbridge-Munsee descendants and their households, HIS beneficiaries served s active patients of the Stockbridge-Munsee Health Center, Employees of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community, Faculty or employees at local schools serving Tribal Members, and other local groups where the Tribal Council determines vaccination is in the Tribe’s best interest (e.g. local emergency responders & EMS)


  • This Plan is based on the approach outlined in the COVID-19 Vaccination Program Interim Playbook for Jurisdiction Operations (Version 2.0; referred to as “Playbook”) issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Tribe agreed to comply with the Playbook in the vaccine distribution agreement with Indian Health Service (IHS). Changes required by federal law are incorporated automatically. 


  • This Plan outlines the Stockbridge-Munsee Community’s overall approach of how quarantine and isolation status is applied during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The Tribe has authorized the issuance of isolation and quarantine orders for communicable diseases, like COVID-19, under Chapter 26A of tribal law.

     
    The Tribe reserves the right to modify this plan or actions taken under it at any time based on with developing guidance and best practices for COVID-19. Additionally, while this Plan outlines the overall approach, specific directions may differ as appropriate based on medical conditions.
