North Star Mohican Casino Resort Appoints New General Manager

BOWLER, WISCONSIN – North Star Mohican Casino Resort is pleased to announce    that Eric McLester has been selected as the new Casino General Manager, effective as of May 24, 2021.

McLester, an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation, brings over 30 years of tribal business and gaming experience to North Star Casino Resort. McLester’s education includes a B.A. in Human Development from UW-Green Bay and graduate degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College.

Eric’s experience includes serving as the General Manager at Odawa Casino in Petoskey, MI, Assistant General Manager for Oneida Casino and most recently, Oneida Retail General Manager. McLester has developed a strong understanding of the gaming industry and excels in the areas of strategic planning and casino expansions. 

McLester is looking forward to using his knowledge and experience to increase growth and profitability for the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribe and surrounding community.

Shannon Holsey, Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians President states, “We are pleased to have Eric assume the leadership position for our casino. His leadership style and experience will be very beneficial to the sustainability and growth of our organization”.
