Mission

To provide a nutritious food package for eligible households and nutrition education to improve the quality of life for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community

The Food Distribution program strives to provide a nutritious food package for eligible households and nutrition education to improve the quality of life for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community.

 

Anyone living within the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation boundaries is eligible to receive a food package if eligibility criteria are met. "Indian Households" (a household in which there is at least one enrolled, federally recognized Tribal member in household), living outside the Reservation, but within the rural areas of Shawano County, the townships of Red Springs and Bartelme are eligible to receive a food package if an eligibility criterion is met.

As of October 1, 2013 there have been changes to the programs: we now give a $400.00 deduction for utilities and we no longer have to count resources which include per caps. For more information please call.
