Public Information Message from our Tribal Emergency Operations

Staying in your home as much as possible is your part in reducing or eliminating the spread of this virus in our Community. Speak with your family daily with the information you have as a family leader about safety and staying home.

Our Tribe has endured difficulties throughout time, and we are still here together as a Tribe. We have faced many challenges together and have now been confronted with a Worldwide Pandemic, which is causing us to once again adapt our lifestyles to safeguard our families and Tribal Community.

We are operating our Emergency Management System to identify risks, plan actions to solve and prevent spread and help our members and staff stay safe. Service providers throughout our Community have seen the importance of working together on safety and prevention actions.

Look at our Tribal website daily for updates and important links to good information on what you can do to help keep our Community safe. Pass on good information to your family and friends. Information on signs and symptoms, Healthcare access and much more are placed there for you to use in safeguarding your family and friends.

Supplies for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for our staff, patients and the many others serving the Community is a major objective of our Emergency Operations Team and we work at coordinating so many sources daily. We have listed our current inventory and weekly needed supplies and we have many resources to order from. The supplies are scarce everywhere, so options from many sources are priority tasks. Several of our orders are on the way.

• Do not gather in large groups.

• If you can shop locally, please consider this option as many highly populated areas are experiencing high rates of infection.

• Keep your safe distance.

• Continue to wash your hands and wipe down your house.

• We all know we love our families and friends, but we also know during this incident close contact is another risk. Call family and friends and keep each other focused on our Community objective to stay safe.

As a Tribe, please help us reduce or eliminate the possibility of spreading this virus to our Tribal Community by making it a topic of discussion daily. Teach your children the history of our Tribal preservation since time immortal.

We will get through this together…We always do.
